BarrettBlade.com isn't your typical porn site. For starters, Barrett's a man (and a gun-toting man at that), and most model sites are built around women. For another, it seems to have more personal touches than usual, which isn't a bad thing. But don't think for a second that there isn't any sex to be found here - there's tons of it. Hardcore, anal, Asian, interracial, teens (18-21), and pretty much anything else you'd want can be found here. The free tour shows you a little bit of it, but there seems to be a lot of Barrett moping around in leather pants with his gun, too. Come on man, there's hot babes everywhere. Cheer up.

Barrett's homepage is a little difficult to navigate because everything is linked from it and the order isn't immediately apparent. And unfortunately, there's no navigation bar to guide you around the site. You're pretty much left to your own devices. That said, the latest updates, links to the photo and video archives, the update schedule, and links to the bonus material are all on the homepage, and you're not far from the content once you find it. Barrett could use a new color scheme, as white on tan is a little hard to read, but once you get used to the layout things are fine. Having all the content links in one place is convenient too, so at least you aren't hunting and pecking over multiple pages to find what you want.

The content is a blend of softcore and hardcore, but looks more like an online portfolio than a site specifically intended for the public. All the girls are people he's worked with so there's more personal touches here than most pornstar sites, and he includes some exclusive content to compliment all the purchased stuff here (not like you can blame him for focusing on that, he starred in all of it). It's all professional in a Penthouse/Club International sort of way, in that it's very high-class magazine looking content that never gets too crazy, but still has all the penetration and cumshots one would expect from a hardcore site.

I guess Barret Blade is the chief model here, and he kinda looks like Billy Idol if he had a soul patch and hundreds of dollars worth of corny tribal tattoos. The girls he's done scenes with are a who's who of porn, though; Aurora Snow, Lucy Lee, Taylor Rain, and Britney Skye are just a couple of big names you'll find here. And he pretty much does it all to them in every conceivable position, and he also includes pictures of them posing (Jessica Darlin has a couple of galleries in his Porn Stars section).

The photo section of Barrett Blade has several categories, all of which contain lots of photo galleries with individual photo counts into the triple digits. Everything is professionally shot and looks great, and there's a good mix of soft and hardcore to keep things from getting repetitive.

The movies here are DVD rips from Barrett's movies and look as good as what you'd expect from DVD-quality footage. There's also behind-the-scenes footage of legit movies he's been in, including one scene where he gets shot. Pretty cool. The movies are split into clips, but the clip times aren't consistent, which gets kind of irritating. Still, this is good stuff.

Not much of a bonus package here, but you do get a lot of bonus video feeds and some live streaming sex shows, as well as links to video on demand. Looks like things are updated fairly regularly, so that's a nice touch.

While BarrettBlade.com would benefit from a little reorganization and a better bonus package, it's by no means a bad site. There's a lot of content here, some of which is downloadable, and some of it isn't available anywhere else. Go ahead and sign up.
