The medium and high quality streaming clips look decent if left at their native sizes, but running them in fullscreen mode could cause your eyes to melt. The medium quality downloadable clips look much better, and aren't bad in fullscreen, but the high quality downloadable clips are near-DVD quality and look great running in fullscreen mode. It's all exclusive content, meaning you won't find these movies on any other website, and there's no DRM on the files, which means that you can watch movies saved to your hard drive even after your membership expires.

Speculum Plays makes up for its unfortunate photo galleries with a pretty spiffy extra: after your first month of membership, you will gain access to two additional complete websites every month. On the 'Network' page you will find a list of all of the sites run by the producers of Speculum Plays, which range in niche from lesbians and sex toys to straight and extreme fetish. Each site is listed with a counter that tells you exactly how many days are left until you will be able to access its members area. This is a great value, as you end up with a three-for-the-price-of-one deal without having to do anything extra (this feature kicks in automatically). Aside from this, Speculum Plays doesn't offer any other notable member extras. The 'Bonus Content' page is just full of links to external live webcam chat sites, which are not included with your membership. If you go to one of these sites and want to use their services, you'll have to fork over some more cash.
