Illustrated XXX Stories isn't as much a toon site as an illustrated erotica site, and as such, it's a neat little throwback to an era where well drawn pen-and-inks and charcoal pencil sketches were still highly valued. They're quaint in the same way that old comics are; in their day they might have been accused of warping readers' minds by irate preachers and parents' groups, but in an era where obscenity is made more realistic than ever, they look harmless. Since the stories cover a lot of ground, you'll see lots of niches, among them are hardcore, lesbians, interracial, group sex, young girls, college girls, uniforms (there are two police stories in here), and honest to God romance. The last one is almost a novelty in a marketplace flooded with HURR FUCK THESE DISGUSTING WHORES taglines and content, but it's a welcome change of pace. The free tour plays this up too. letting you know that the effect is as imaginative as it is visually immediate.

This site's homepage has stories arranged in no obvious order, scrolling down the page. There are three pages of stories, and each of them are linked by a frame of illustration and a brief synopsis of the story. It's pretty easy to get around this site, as there are virtually no bells or whistles distracting from the content. And all the niches are pretty clearly defined, often flatly stated, so there's no need for breakdowns or anything.

The content, as stated before, is meant to be erotic and romantic rather than typically hardcore. This effect is achieved via the lovingly-rendered drawings that accompany the stories hosted here. I'm not certain as to the exclusivity of these stories, or the artwork joined to them, but it's all new to me. Either way, there's a lot of it and it's all worth reading; these stories are pretty well written.

Since the models at Illustrated XXX Stories are all, well, illustrated, it's hard to accurately gauge how hot they are, but they're all drawn to be attractive. Since the stories here involve fucking, blowjobs, anal, lesbianism, and group sex, all the drawings here feature those things. Very few holds are barred, so to speak, on this website.

Each story has four or five illustrations representing the action taking place in the story. Those pictures are well drawn, sometimes in color, and certainly enhance any mood the written work attempts to get across to the reader. You can't enlarge any of the pictures, but they're meant to be a part of the action, not the overall focus.

There aren't any movies here at Illustrated XXX Stories, but there really don't need to be any. There'd be no place for them here, and there are plenty of movies in the bonus sites anyway.

Speaking of the bonus material, it's a handful of bonus sites which include Dirty XXX Comics and They Drunk. It's all typical hardcore fare, albeit well done, and all these sites have the movies and photo galleries you've come to expect from adult websites. It's all good stuff, and enough of a value to warrant membership on its own.

Illustrated XXX Stories is a wonderful site for people who want something a little more artistic and dignified than most other porn offerings. The lack of downloadable content is a bit of a downer, but there's enough of that on the bonus sites to cover for it. Go ahead and sign up.
